I’m an artist and musician based in the Chicago area, creating abstract paintings that explore rhythm, movement, and texture. I graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1986, but soon after I followed my musical ambitions and spent many years playing in Chicago based rock bands.

When I returned to painting in 2023, I brought that same love of rhythm and movement into my visual work. My paintings draw inspiration from space imagery, microscopic photography, mineral textures, dyed fabrics, and the biomorphic abstractionists of the mid-twentieth century. The result is a body of work that feels both organic and musical, inviting viewers to find their own connections within the imagery.
